The I/Gear Data Transport Utility (DTU) can interface with scanners, PLCs, databases, OPC devices, text files, etc. to collect real-time data and reliably drive it to visual communication systems such as I/Gear Andon, scrolling marquees, HMI’s, and plant intelligence systems like I/Gear Web Framework. Whether the device connects via Ethernet, wireless Ethernet, or serial, I/Gear DTU can seamlessly integrate the display to drive frontline productivity.

I/Gear can be configured to collect and present actual performance compared to a rolling target based on your specific success criteria.

Uniformity

Synchronize clocks with I/Gear DTU by driving exact time from a database to all clocks throughout the facility. You may choose to update all of you PLC clocks with the same time, once per day. I/Gear can easily accomplish this task reliably.
